the bearded man

I was on my way home and found myself walking alone on a lonely road near my house. Apart from me, the only two other people on the road were both men.

One was a 20-something old guy wearing what I call 'hero fit trousers' (a desi variation of bell bottoms) and a tapori style shirt while the other man must have been in his mid-thirties was wearing a kurta and lungi, had a flowing beard and a religious skull cap on his head.

In my warped universe, I began wondering which one of the two would be more likely to attack me.

I write this with a heavy heart and a heavier conscience.

Sounds like the situation is still the same? I remember experiencing something similar quite some time back.
