Freaked

A guy who I did not know existed before today asked me how come I had switched mobile phones (I was carrying Akshay's swanky 3230 all last month and am now back to my sweet lil 6610i).

I was zapped. Who was this guy? Why had I never noticed him? I'm usually quite perceptive and try to be as friendly as I can (though i'm wary of his type - how rude!!)...but the whole thing left me wondering - do we really know the people we spend 8 hours of our days with!?

Over the last few months Ive discovered that the minute you scratch the surface, people have such complex and interesting lives. On the surface they are just regular people but inside...get a load of this..Last week I discovered:

- a cultish religion
- a sad childhood
- a couple about to elope

......all at my workplace
